Alright, thank you for the feedback! I'll make sure the windows will be easy to move around and the look of the panels as slick and cool as they can be. I can manage now, but it is pretty weird to say the least and it is difficult to place the window in your 'optimal' place on the desktop.Īs for other things: I don't know yet, I guess with Llanfair the customization of the look of the panel could be better, but I don't know. Out of the blue I only can think of 1 issue with Llanfair and that is that when I move the window around with my mouse the window jumps around on the desktop. Glad to see you like the idea I'll be sure to keep you in mind if I need someone to test!Īny features or things you would like to see in your perfect timer? Anything you find frustrating with the timer you are using right now? If so, i'll be sure to keep those things in mind developing the timer. If you need someone to test it, contact me.

Additional alternatives are most welcome! Anyways, I hope you are successful with building your own timer! Pdf eusebio de cesarea I dislike using Livesplit One because it runs in the browser. I'm using linux and there is only Llanfair which is a decent timer. Yeah, I know Livesplit One is solid but I just don't like the idea of using a browser, and ooh didn't think about running Livesplit trough Wine, let me try that too! Yo, that sounds really cool! Just keep that in mind if you find yourself stuck with your project but would still like to use a timer like Livesplit.

So yeah, if you have any suggestions you always wanted in your speedrun timer or any questions hit me up! If you are down for this project it would also be motivating for you to post something saying this is a good idea or something like that! So this is where my journey with AceSplit begins, let's see where it takes us.Īnd Livesplit itself can be run through Wine as well. I'm LineartLemur and well, I have wanting to get into speedrunning lately but I didn't really find a good speedrun timer for Mac, that's why i'm making my own! I have 1. They can be used as an alarm clock, timer, stopwatch, etc.Bahasa Indonesia. Other timers that I have used in the past are multifunction. There is no way to have the alarm loop that I have found.

It's simplicity is actually both it's pro and it's con. The ability to type in the numbers is a major plus, but if you choose to use the up and down arrows it advances very quickly, unlike other timers. It has the ability to run multiple timers at the same time. Easy to use, lots of variety in alarm sounds.

Would like to see some type of change in the sound as it gets closer to STOP time. Even when I put none in, it said I had too many. It you could check a simple option for counting up or down, this would be a pretty good timer. You can save timers and reopen them, which is nice, but I saved one as a count up and when I reopened it, it counted down and wouldn't count up any more. You can type numbers in or rename the window panel, but you can't click on the section you want to change and there is no text cursor rather, you must hover over the area and a green bar will appear you have to leave the cursor there and then type. I tried lots of clicking as there is no option anywhere and I did not get any consistent results. While this functions well as a timer, getting it to function is the problem. Alarm sounds when countdown reaches zero Can count down or up Can use multiple timers simultaneously. For longer time use, this is hopeless until the CPU usage bug is fixed still present on v8. If nothing else is available, you can use this in case of emergency. Also the functionality is not exactly as I would prefer. So that makes it completely useless if you expect any sanity from your apps. Enter a value and click "Start" to count down any number of hours, minutes, and seconds, or start at zero to track elapsed time. Timer is a simple chronometer application.
